The all-new Fairfax E brings the power to scoot you along with 40Nm of torque from the rear hub, quietly and seamlessly adding a boost to your pedaling. The 340Wh battery is cleanly integrated into the Series 2 aluminum frame's downtube, while a Shimano 8-speed Altus drivetrain provides plenty of gearing range. Finally, hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro allow for controlled and comfortable stopping power in all conditions. Technology: - Series 2 Frame The Series 2 e-bike fitness frame features 6061 aluminum tubing with an internal battery and internal cable routing, forged dropouts with rack and fender mounts, and an integrated kickstand mount - Electric Drivetrain The Bafang rear hub motor provides 40Nm of torque in a compact and tidy package and delivers top assisted speeds of 20mph, 32km/h (North America), and 25km/h for the rest of the world. Five levels of assistance, accessed via a handlebar-mounted controller, means that riders can quickly dial in the level of assistance that best meets their needs and riding style. The controller also doubles as a display, showing speed, battery charge state, and assist level selected.
